Before diving headfirst into full-time freelancing, I helped celebrity chefs, food bloggers, and other top culinary personalities bring their recipes to the page in the world of cookbook publishing. I also worked my way up to being the content manager at a boutique marketing agency, tackling everything from the company's social media posts to client marketing copy.

​Born and raised in Texas, I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin (hook 'em) with a BA in English, a BA in anthropology, and a minor in rhetoric and writing. 

​I'm also a graduate of the Columbia Publishing Course and have completed a digital marketing certificate from the NYU School of Professional Studies.
